POV

Terms of Service

Last updated: 3 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Vela Blu Ltd, 73, Triq Sir Frederick C. Ponsomby, Gzira GZR 1070, Malta (“POV”, “we”). By using pov.now you accept them. Contact: info@pov.now.

1. Who can use POV

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract. One person, one account.

2. Taking part is free

Watching, reacting, voting in Quick Decisions and supporting Quests are free. One person, one vote. Votes and support can't be bought, and paying never changes what the audience chooses. A Quest can be unlocked by free support or, where the creator allows it, by a paid instant unlock with POV (section 4); payment never touches votes or Quick Decisions and never ranks anything.

3. Quests and Quick Decisions

Creators set the possibilities: the Quests viewers can unlock and the questions they ask. Your vote or support expresses what you'd like to see; it never obliges a creator to do anything. When a Quest unlocks, the creator has committed to try it, and can still stop at any time for safety, context or any good reason. POV confirms what happened with the people who were watching and reviews disputes by hand.

4. POV, gifts, tips and tickets

5. Sponsored moments

A brand may cover something that happens in a Live, such as a ride, a drink or a ticket. Sponsored moments are always labelled (for example “Powered by” a brand). Sponsors never influence what the audience votes for, creators are free to accept or decline every offer, and a sponsored moment doesn't mean the creator endorses the brand unless that is stated. Offers a brand makes to viewers are provided by that brand under its own terms.

6. Creators

7. What is not allowed

Illegal, dangerous, harassing, hateful or sexual content; filming people in private spaces without consent; Quests or questions that target individuals or ask for anything unsafe; fraud, fake accounts, or manipulating votes, Quests, tips or rewards; interfering with POV or other users.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of what you create. You give POV a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, stream, display and promote it on POV and in POV Moments while you use POV and as needed after (for example Moments already shared).

POV-funded Quests. When you accept a Quest funded by POV, the app shows you the content terms for it before you start, and records the version you accepted. Under those terms the recording of that Live Quest may be retained, distributed, edited, clipped, promoted and monetized by POV, and once POV has paid for it you can’t delete it from POV yourself. You can always ask POV to review a removal (privacy, safety, someone in it asked, or another reason), and POV removes content where the law or POV policy requires. Draft: the final legal wording of these terms is being reviewed.

Curated profiles. Some profiles on POV are curated by the POV team and marked "Curated by POV". They show licensed third-party clips (credited on each clip), not Lives captured by a real creator, and they never earn money or count toward creator programs. Draft: the final legal wording of these terms is being reviewed.

Audience during the launch phase. While POV is launching, the viewer counts and audience activity (such as reactions) shown during a Live may include a synthetic audience generated by POV, not only real people. Synthetic audience never counts toward creator earnings, payouts, advertiser reporting or billing, which are based only on real viewers. Draft: the final legal wording of these terms is being reviewed.

9. Availability and changes

POV is provided as is and may change. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. We will give notice of material changes to these terms.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, POV is not liable for indirect losses or for what creators or viewers do in the real world. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta. Consumers also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of their country of residence.
